Battlefield 3 is set in 2014, with Segrant Blackburn leads a five-man squad on a mission to locate, find and safely return a US squad investigating a possible IED, whose last known position was a market controlled by a hostile military called the PLR. Blackburn and his squad are later sent to Tehran to apprehend the leader of the PLR, Al-Bashir. While investigating an underground vault in the target's suspected location, Blackburn and his team learn that the PLR acquired Russian portable nuclear devices, and that two of the three devices are missing. So the aim of the game to find the missing nuclear devices and get them back to camp safely but there is many obstucles in the way.
As a group, we thought that from the description and images of the game, it would be aimed at 16+ boys who enjoy playing violent shooting games. After looking at the ratings on different websites, the main age limit is 18 but it varies for different countries.
From the graphics of the game, if you play the game for long enough it might influence you to copy certain elements of the game e.g running after someone and killing them for no reason. From a scene you are seen to be able to shoot policemen and blow their cars up, if someone sees this graphic they may think that it is ok to go around shooting people.
