FRAGGER!
This is a role playing, turn based action game, it can also be considered a puzzle game as well as an arcade game. By the appearance, it looks like it is designed for boys. It is one of Miniclip's biggest most profitable games because of a highly successful iOS version with hundreds of levels. This is just a normal internet game with only one of its kind, so it isnt part of a series. On the other hand, its just as good as the angry bird series. It is classed as a shooting game, however this game only involves frag grenades.
The story to this game is that you have to try and shoot down the men using only the grenades. You get given a certain amount of grenades and once you run out, its game over. Depending on how many grenades you use, depends on the score you have overall. There is no time limit to this game, however as the levels progress, more men added and fewer grenades are given.
The game is played, using only the mouse, or for I-devices, your fingers. The controls are easy to use, you use the curser to determine the speed and the angle, left click to release the grenade and the space bar to cancel the grenade you just threw. When using an I-device, you use your fingers for the same reasons, (tap to release the grenade, tap again to cancel it, slide to change speed and angle)
The graphics are eye catching, and each world has its own engaging sound track. When playing on an I-device, the soundtrack cuts out and allows you to listen to your own music. In the gameplay, we didn't notice any graphic bugs or any glitches, which is good, because there is nothing more irritating than these.
In personal opinion, we came to the conclusion that this game isn't really worth the time. It is too much like Angry birds, only with grenades instead. By the looks of it, it can be played by girls and boys but it isn't aimed at girls. We think the title is a good way to promote the game, they could have come up with something more productive, but the title is easy to remember. When looking at reviews, they don't tend to mean a lot, on the basis that, you would rather find out for yourself if a game is a waste of time, rather than reading someone else's opinion.
