Video Games and Representaion of Vilolence

The game we have picked is called Extreme Penguin, or known as The Bloody Penguin or Bloody Penguin Throw. In this game you are playing as Yetti with a club/bat.  A penguin gets dropped from above you and you have to time it correctly, click the button and hit the penguin. If you hit the penguin at the right time its head will fly through the air, landing on the snow or the mines and eventually slidding to a stop. The distance gets recorded and then you try to beat your previous score.
This game is remake of Yetisports, Penguin Throw. In the original you still are playing as the Yetti hitting the penguin but there are no mines, spikes, mines or blood. It is just a challenge to see how far you can hit the penguin.

The age that this game is aimed at would be teenagers above 15. However younger children have had accesss to this game before. Even though it is enjoyable and amusing it can be a bad influence as the children have been subjected to this kind of violence.

To conclude this game is harmless unless people start acting violently as a result to playing this game (The Copy Cat Behaviour). Although adictive and enjoyable I wouldnt recomend it to young people.

This is the original by Yeti Sports.
