Representation of violence: Carmageddon

Content and Structure- what is the game about- examples of specific representations from the game...
Carmageddon is a violent vehicular combat video game produced by Stainless Games. The video game was inspired by the 1975 cult classic movie 'Death Race 2000'

Target Audience- who is the video game aimed at?- what age has it been classified?
Carmageddon is aimed at 18 year old boys or anyone who enjoys violent racing. Its an 18+ in most countries (e.g Australia and Portragul), however banned in the uk. We dont understand why it has been banned as graphics are very un realistic, and graphic bugs are clearly visable. However, we do agree that it should be an 18+ due to the effect on society it can enhance.

Issues- what issues might surround the game?
The issues with this game is that its banned in the UK due to excessive violence against pedestrians, humans were changed to zombies to try and solve this however, this did not work. Today, three other games are yet to be released due to gory scenes and excessive violence but it is available on the website where you must state you are over the age of 18.
